Public artwork in Montréal presented by the Musée d'art urbain
Duke/Brennan Park, Sept 2007 - ongoing
Curated by France Gascon
For its most recent exhibition, and its fourth in the Montréal public domain, the Musée d'art urbain has relocated some of its permanent installations to a new park situated in the Cité du multimédia, near the Old-Port of Montréal, at the corner of Duke and Brennan streets.
For this new exhibit, director/curator France Gascon has grouped together works by three Québec photographers offering a new take on nature, seen as an untapped source of inspiration for this new generation whose eye is fierce, direct, but still extremely poetic. The artists selected are Josée Pedneault, Roberto Pellegrinuzzi and Jessica Auer.
